Elation or Ecstasy?

Hello! My husband and I are thinking about taking a short cruise in late August. We have never cruised Carnival and have only cruised large ships (140k tons and up) just because our first one was on a larger ship and we just stuck with them. This is also our first cruise without our kids!! :) We are trying to decide between the Ecstasy out of Charleston or the Elation out of Jacksonville. Any input on either of these would be fantastic!! Thank you in advance.

They are pretty much the same, with two exceptions. Ecstasy has balcony cabins and the Waterworks with the large slide. The only cabins with balconies on Elation are the suites and the water slide on Elation empties into the pool. I love Waterworks but have sailed Elation 3 times, it's a beautiful ship.
