S.P.Q.R./Morunt Posted February 17, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 17, 2016 Does anyone know if I'm allowed to take cremated ashes aboard? We will be scattering them off private boat in one of the ports? They are in bag inside the authorized black box. The funeral home was not sure. Thanks in advance. We are driving to port, not flying. chengkp75 Posted February 17, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 17, 2016 (edited) As to whether or not you can disembark with the ashes, this is something you will have to check with the consulate of the country where you are planning on scattering them, and they will have to provide documentation that it is permitted. And then it needs to be cleared, with documentation by Carnival. Edited February 17, 2016 by chengkp75
GMRPHRN Posted February 19, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 19, 2016 I think JH mentioned in a post on F*B this week that he was assisting with this for someone while on his cruise this week.
