Gem 7 day internet package

Hi. Has anyone recently purchased the unlimited internet package on a 7 day Gem cruise? What is the cost?

It's $29.95 per day. I can only assume that one has to buy it for the entire cruise so for your 7 days it would be $209.65.

We were just on the Gem for 11 days; I had the unlimited pkg (needed it for work, sadly). I just wanted to note that I was actually impressed by the quality of the wi-fi on board and the speed. Not RCI's VOOM speed, but better than the molasses speed of the past. (Of course, there were some slow times.)

 

It's absurdly expensive, though.
