I didn't think ivory was allowed in the US. No problems traveling with that?

I'm thinking if it was made in the US, it is allowed in the US? Trying to remember, but I think native Alaskans are allowed to 'utilize' the ivory, just like Alaskan tribes are allowed to hunt whales?

Someone will hopefully correct me if I'm wrong. :)

Correct. I looked it up before I bought it. Ivory from extinct or American mammals like walrus is legal to purchase and transport if it has been carved into art. "New ivory" from living mammals can only be carved by Alaskan natives.
