geejay Posted October 10, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 10, 2005 Four or five years ago we ate at a great restaurant, maybe Kelly's Pub or something similar? We checked our bags at the airport, jumped in a cab and told the cab driver to take us somewhere good. He said this was a place where the locals went. Anyway, it was on the side of a small strip mall with a grocery store in the front of the mall, very near the port. My husband had some fried oysters that he said were great and he'd like to go back. Do you know the name and address of this place, and is it still good? Thanks in advance, Trent. You are so helpful to all of us. I'll repay the favor if you ever come to Montana! ;)

TrentS Posted October 11, 2005 #3 Share Posted October 11, 2005 I think you mean Kelly's Landing... I always forget about that place, but it's very good. It's on Cordova Road, across the street from a Winn-Dixie, on the side of the shopping center that Publix used to be in (Publix have moved to a new strip mall across the street, behind Embassy Suites). It's actually on Cordova Road, but the address is 1305 SE 17th Street. They don't seem to have a website, but does this sound like it?... http://www.southflorida.com/dining/17976,0,4189413,reviews.venue?coll=sfe-dining-search The only "pub" I can think of off the top of my head is Waxy O'Connors... http://www.waxys.com/
geejay Posted October 11, 2005 Author #4 Share Posted October 11, 2005 Yes, Kelly's Landing! Thanks so much. We will definitely try it again! :) And we are from Havre. (Almost as scenic as Miles City :) ) You're the only other poster from Montana that I know of.
