We were also on the 10-31-05 sailing of the Celebrity Galaxy and spent a day at Sunset Beach. The water park was open that day as we spent some time there as well as the beach. The water park opens at 10 am. They had some inner tube type floats that you could use to float around the lazy river and the slides were open also. We found the beach to be nice and there were plenty of chaise lounges. We took our own insulated mugs and used them for our drinks which worked out really well.

I posted that the water park was not open, but apparently it was. Sorry. When we checked in they told us it wasn't open, but now after reading Terri's post, it was probably because it was not 10:00 a.m. yet. We never even went to it after that. Sorry we missed it. The beach was very nice.
