Do both of these need to be back on when you use AT&T passport? Or do we just get out of airplane mode? anything else? thanks,
Colo Cruiser Posted February 21, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 21, 2016 (edited) Normally when the cruise ship leaves port. (1) We go to airplane mode (2) Data roaming is turned off. Do both of these need to be back on when you use AT&T passport? Or do we just get out of airplane mode? anything else? thanks, I have used it several times and when onboard I always have my cell data and data roaming turned off regardless. I even have it turned off ashore in Europe for example. When I need to use data I turn them back on, do what I have to do and then turn them off again. My package only had 800mb so I really watched my usage. It does not help with the ships cell service.
