Terminal in Fort lauderdale

We are arriving on the Indy on Monday April 18... It looks like the only other RCCL ship arriving the same day is the Serenade. We are looking for a fast get away to the airport. I understand the best place to disembark is Terminal 18.. How are terminal assignments made?? Does anyone know if the Indy ever uses Terminal 18??

Serenade usually uses 18.

 

Independence usually uses 25.

 

Yes, 18 usually is a better terminal (Especially embarkation), however debarkation from both has been slow this winter (Due to Customs, not RCCL)

 

They tend to use the same terminals as much as possible for consistency. However one time this winter when they have been in port together they did swap (indy to 18 and Serenade to 25) but that was just one time.
