Hello!!

 

I am looking for recommendations for this stop on our cruise. We are already going to Cozumel, Grand Cayman, and Honduras.

 

I am looking for the best beach to snorkel and enjoy the clearest water and good drinks and food.

 

we don't like to be hammered by people trying to sell us stuff constantly, but don't mind some vendors.

 

I am a very good ocean swimmer and the rest of the family is not bad.

 

 

If there are places to go that are better on the other islands we are going to.. any ideas are helpful!!

If you want good snorkeling take the ship snorkeling excursion to Uvero Beach.

It's to the north of the port and more iron shore. If you want good sand and clear water, limited crowds, contact Almaplena Beach Club. It's further south than the malecon and limits the number of people. Second AI option is Maya Chan. And if AI isn't your thing, then look at the reviews here for Blue Kay. It's at the start of the malecon, has a separate entrance and is a bit of a walk from the other beach clubs along the malecon.
