Reading these boards I see a fair amount of entertainment goes on in the atrium. Our cabin is near the atrium on deck 3. Anyone know if the sound carries up around the atrium loud enough to disturb a person in the cabin? Not sure I want to put up with that late in to every night.

Have not sailed RH (yet, going in 2 days) but have sailed other Vision Class. Answer is YES! Some ships have started closing fire doors at the end of the hallways to cut down on the noise.

The atrium really starts on deck 4, so you should not have as much noise on deck 3 as those near the atrium on higher decks.

Was on Rhapsody last year in deck 3 the below the atrium area and heard nothing. Also when we were in her the Atrium was dead all bars shut at midnight. In fact one night I wanted a coke diabetic daughter had been a bit lowish and at 12.25 it was nearly impossible to get hold of some (I think my DH got it in the casino in the end and someone said the bar at the top of the ship in the night club was also open). all others were shut.

Thanks for your replies. I did notice after I posted the atrium was on deck 4 so I think from your comments we will be fine where we are. Plus we don't usually go to bed too early. Thanks again.
