Staying on Decks 1 and 2

We were on deck 1 on the sunshine and it was awesome (with the exception of no balcony). We were mid ship so no problems at all. No movement, no noise. I did feel that the further up front you went, the more you felt. Pros: Not much hall traffic, no problems getting an elevator, very quiet. Cons: far from everything, atrium elevator did not go to deck 1. It is VERY important to know your ship before you book for this reason. Hope that helps!

Can anyone tell me what it is like staying on Decks 1 and 2? Is it noisy? We are thinking about booking a room on 1 of the decks on the Vista. Thank you

Very quiet. Deck 1 on the Vista has only cabins above you. I am booked on Deck 2. Better prices, less crowded elevators, less people just cutting through the hallways. Forward cabins may hear the anchor being dropped, aft may feel a bit more vibration.
