Thank you. Sounds like we have like-minded husbands.

Won't bother with bringing cables. Will watch on our computer.

How is the selection of On Demand ? and the reception?

I know....we should be watching the sights !

The television stations (live) are satellite feed and almost all in German...there's several news (CNN) stations and sports and I think Nat Geo with some shows in English.

 

ON Demand include movies of the region, like Sound of Music for example. Amadeus. Some new ones tossed in...and tv shows like full seasons of Downton Abbey. I got hooked on DA on our first cruise--I got sick midway thru with a terrible cold-upper resp. infection and spent a day on ship squirrelled away in our cabin. I started Season 1 (It was already season 4 in the states) and powered thru the entire first season on that cruise.
