First Solo Cruise

Hello! I booked the Escape cruise for March 12th today on a bit of whim. This will be my 3rd cruise and I'm so excited however a bit concerned as this will be my first cruise solo. I booked a balcony and was wondering if I will be able to join any of the activities or meet ups that seem to be part of the solo experience when travelling in a studio with access to the lounge?

Is there a way to go about trying to get involved with other solo travellers for meals/shows/excursions even though I won't be in the studio section?

You can get yourself into the Studio lounge (if you want to ofcourse) Just explain you are travelling alone and they give you access on your keycard. I did this on the Epic.

The policy on this is foggy. No harm to ask but how policy is applied can vary. Regardless all solo travellers are welcome to participate in the scheduled activities. Just check the FreestylebDaily and show up at the daily gathering.

Thanks for the info everyone! I actually called today and they said they would not give me access on my key card. That's fine though, I'll look in the freesgyke Daily and meet up with other solo cruisers that way:). Never noticed in the past as I suppose I just wasn't looking for it the other two cruises.

On the first night solo gathering, ask the solo coordinator about having your card coded for entry to the solo lounge... I have been solo twice on the Getaway, (in a balcony cabin) and was able to get access with their help... Oftentimes, the customer service reps at NCL have no idea what they're talking about...
