Afternoon Tea Master List...maybe

Okay, I've been running through everything I can find to try and find a place that will serve afternoon tea on the days we're in Port (Wednesday-Friday), and I've found the "big 5" as I'm calling them. (Prices do not include gratuity.)

 

- Crown and Anchor (formerly Heritage Court) - Sat and Sun 3-5pm - $48-$64/pp

 

- Sweet P at the Perfumery - Wed and Sat 1-3pm - $28/pp - CASH ONLY

 

- Homer's Cafe at the Art Museum - Sun only(?) 2-4pm - price not listed

 

- Jasmine Lounge at Southhampton Fairmont - daily 3-5pm - price not listed

 

- Dockyard Pastry Shop - daily 2-5pm - $23.75-38.75/pp

 

 

Does anyone know of anywhere else on the island that serves afternoon tea? With two ships in port those days, it might be nice to find some hidden spots that are good and won't be as crowded. I'd really like to try Sweet P, but it's the most well-known spot and is only open the one day for us.

I saw that, but since the first entry is Heritage Court, which is gone, I didn't trust it.

That website is run by someone who lives in India and relies on what others report to the site owner, not firsthand information. As a result it's one of the least reliable sources of information on Bermuda, with lots of outdated and incorrect material.

Two years ago we had afternoon tea at the Hamilton Princess. It was a very nice service in terms of quality and the setting. I think it was in the range of $30 to $35PP.

The Hamilton Princess at the at the Crown and Anchor Restaurant is currently advertising Afternoon Tea (page 11) on weekends at $48.00/PP plus tip. Maybe this was for the winter only, and will change to the entire week as we approach summer.
