Valor or Triumph???

We have never cruised carnival before and was looking to find a cruise in September. Was looking for either a 4 or 5 night ....and looking at either the Valor out of port canaveral or the Triumph out of Orleans?? Does anyone have any suggestions or input for me? Would really appreciate any info!! Thanks!!

Take the Valor. It is newer and larger than the Triumph. It will be getting new upgrades. I love them both, but prefer the Valor.

For me, it depends on the ports. Typically, the Triumph usually goes to Progreso and Cozumel. Valor typically goes to the Bahamas for 5 day cruises. If the Valor included Half Moon Cay I would go with the Valor. If it did not, I would go with Triumph. Typically, cruises out of New Orleans are cheaper then Port Canaveral. I like both ships equally.

If I was choosing on ships only, I would choose Valor for the steakhouse and fish n chips which Triumph does not have.
