stevefrisco Posted March 6, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 6, 2016 Hey all my life partner's mother is getting remarried to a guy who is on his fourth or fifth marriage and has never had a bachelor's party....I know sad. Anyways, we are trying to figure out how to get him to pick opening weekend of college football for a cruise but he is worried he isn't going to be able to gamble. I know he can link up with his bookie on through internet packages via email or whatever no problem but he also like to play exotic prop bets, parlays and futures which are only offered on online sportsbooks or in vegas. Does anyone know if he will be able to use his internet package to connect to these sites? I asked this for myself a few months back and no one had any answers. I'm fine just laying off that week but he isn't. I know he'll want to go to vegas if not and I don't think his relationship will handle vegas😄
coevan Posted March 6, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 6, 2016 I am an internet sports better, thank you Broncos. All gambling sites are blocked including FanDuel. I had to make my bets at internet cafes ashore. The only bad part is I love second half bets. The other bad part about the Dream the sports bar is the smoking section and it stunk. We watched games on deck 10 at the bar across from the deli. I have no idea why Carnival cares if we bet football.

vwrestler171 Posted March 6, 2016 #5 Share Posted March 6, 2016 I was able to get Fanduel on my phone with the ships wifi, so it might depend on the ship or it might be blocked on their computers.
stevefrisco Posted March 6, 2016 Author #6 Share Posted March 6, 2016 Sorry for being purposely vague in my title y'all. I figured I'd be more likely to get the answer I was looking for with that title. Thanks for the replies folks. I agree with you covenan and also bet the halves. Part of me understands them wanting to block porn because of bandwidth but not allowing you to place bets is silly.
klepton Posted March 6, 2016 #7 Share Posted March 6, 2016 Actually on the glory last month they had all gambling sites blocked, even just informational ones. Any site that had anything to do with gambling, odds, strategies, etc. I was able to get on other cruise line websites though. :)
