CLEAN hotel in FLL - cheap??

We're looking for a hotel with a clean room...don't need any other amenities...just flying in late the night before our cruise, catching a few winks, then heading for the pier. Would prefer not to overpay for lots of amenities we won't use. Any suggestions? Anyone had any luck with Priceline for February in FLL? Thanks!

we have been looking at priceline for a bunch of areas.. even the airport area 3 stars as high as 150 we bid- this is for Feb 11th and as of the other day I was still turned down. we bid downtown, airport and beach area. Not even a nibble. We try 4 stars - 3 stars nothing.

"Cheap" and February don't go together ;)

 

AmeriSuites is usually the least expensive, but not through them directly. They're cheapest through one of the discount hotel sites such as Valuetrips... http://www.valuetrips.com/AMS/FL/F17.htm

 

However that depends on what part of February you're going to be here, as they have blackout dates from 2/10-2/20-06.

 

If you can't get a "deal" at AmeriSuites, go with the Holiday Inn Express or Extended Stay America as they're both a bit nicer. All are less than 10 minutes from FLL and just outside the entrance to Port Everglades.
