When boarding the Spirit...

Hi, since we upsold into a suite I was wondering if there are certain things that I should quickly book since we will be among the first on board. We already have our excursions and dining booked. (although I do want to change one night to teppanyaki).

Is there a "posh" or something similar that I might book? Is the listed sun deck just a regular sun deck or are there additions (hot tubs, bars, etc.)?

We are not interested in captain's table which might be the only other thing I can think of right now.

No, only new megaships have exclusive sun decks, on older ships like Spirit there are no exclusive areas except for one speciality restaurant used for VIP breakfast and lunch.

Also there is no Captain's table on NCL.

No Captains table with NCL? I could swear I have seen video reviews where they held them in the Haven restaurant before.

There is "dinner with officers" where if you're among the lucky ones, you might get to have dinner with one of the officers onboard, more info for example in this thread:

There is no guarantee that the captain will even take part in that event, so not a captain's table per se.

Perhaps I am using the wrong terminology then. It is special meal that runs about 110 or so where there are various dishes and wines shared. Chef's table maybe? In either case, I won't be availing myself of it.

Any dining changes can be handled easily with your Concierge. There is a Concierge desk right in Cagney's, where you will be escorted to upon embarkation for lunch, and the Concierge was always there on our last cruise in December.

You can also call the pre-cruise concierge desk and make any requests prior to boarding here:1-855-625-4283

Have fun!
