Port or Starboard on Silhouette

For a Western Caribbean intinerary on the Silhouette, is it better to have port or starboard side? I'm booked in a port side forward balcony on deck 7. I've only ever been on the NCL Breakaway, and I noticed that there's a definite preference for the port side to see the islands. Does this hold true for the Silhouette?

There's plenty of cabins still available since the sailing isn't til 2017, so if I should switch, I'm thinking I should do it now.

Personal preference. The big question to me is how is the moorage. That one is a coin flip. For the few minutes when entering or leaving port possibly port would have more views, but I would be on deck anyway.

Enjoy your cruise.

We were on the Silhouette Western Caribbean cruise in February. We were on the starboard side and wished we had booked on the port side. We like to watch for pier runners and couldn't do that from our balcony. It's a beautiful ship, enjoy!!
