Baltic Cruises - Grand Princess

We are waitlisted on the Grand Princess July 18 which leaves Copenhagen, goes to Stockholm, Helsinki, St Petersburg, Berlin, Gdansk etc. I am still undecided about this cruise and would appreciate any feedback. We haven't done the Greece/Turkey area but I understand July is very hot down there. Could anyone let me know how hot the Baltic area is - sunbathing, swimming on the ship etc??

Many thanks.

I'm leaving on this trip shortly but I can already answer your question: not HOT. However, I'm sure that you would be able to swim and sit outside quite comfortably on a sunny day. Keep in mind that this is a really port intensive cruise: 1.5 sea days only.

On the other hand, the Med in July would be searingly hot.

We did this cruise a number of years ago in July the weather was perfect and the sea was like glass. Although I likedays at sea the best, the Baltic ports are very interessting if you have not been in that part of the world before.
