Carnival wheel of fortune deal...

I am booked on the breeze in Feb 25/2018. I have been checking daily for price changes. Today I see this deal. We have 2 connecting rooms booked at and average price of $453pp. With today's deal you can get $50pp OBC and the rate is $459pp. So for the 6 of us it would be an extra $36 but we would get $100OBC between the 2 rooms.

Am I making any sense?? Can I call my PVP and do this or am I missing something??

Note the fine print:

Onboard Credit offer is non-transferable and non-refundable. Onboard Credit is provided as a non-refundable credit to your Sail & Sign account of $25 per person up to a maximum of $50 per stateroom

I will have to call tonight when I get home from work

I would try and call as soon as you can. I saw I had a casino deal for the Vista in the Med for $250 on a 10 day sailing I had cancelled months ago to cruise NCL instead. I decided I was going to do both cruises with that price and when I got home to call my PVP the deal had gone up to $699 per person.

My point is prices change frequently so the sooner the better. Or at least take a screen shot of the page so you can file a price adjustment since you're already booked in the case the price changes.

One more question. If I do this and get the OBC and then my price goes down and i call in again i will lose the OBC right?

Yes if price goes back down and OBC is not offered in the new offer you will most likely lose the OBC. So just make sure it behooves you to file an adjustment if that happens.

The sale is good until March 25th (however specific cabin rates could rise or fall)

I just changed over 2 cruises I had booked to this yesterday. My rates both went down plus I got the OBC as well.

I think if you buy a vowel first this will be easier to answer.:D

Just took advantage of this deal - deal #2 - for both of our bookings for next year. Vista cabins didn't change in price at all. Sunshine cabin was $18 more. Got $50 obc for every cabin. I love it when a deal works in my favor!!! Already up to $300 in obc for the Vista so far!

How do you build up that much OBC?

It's not really that much. $150 each cabin. We have two cabins. $100 per cabin is from our TA. Plus the $50 per cabin we got from this deal. That's it.

Oh, ok. I was just wondering. If I get this OBC and awhile from now there is another OBC deal I assume I lose the first OBC. So for example if I have this $100 OBC and there is another deal for $100 OBC I can't get the second one as well and have $200 can I???

No with that example you would exchange one obc for another. If the obc goes with a certain rate code then you get the applicable obc for it.

I dont really find any Carnival sales to be that great. Just book early saver far in advance and watch the prices and youll always get the best deal. That said, I will pay 20 dollars extra to get 50 dollars on board credit! I dont understand why people would book Deal #1 or deal #3. We booked deal #2 last night for the ship we are having our wedding on! So excited!
