Leaving From San Juan

Was on Summit out of San Juan a few weeks ago. Muster drill (we were in Rendezvous Lounge...no standing and sweating on deck) was at 7:30, if I remember correctly. Dinner in a specialty restaurant will probably take about 2 hours, give or take. Best make it a real early reservation.

Muster will be at 7:45pm, best to plan to sit down at 6 or 8:30

Some slow early parties who didn't have time for desert came back after muster for desert, others had desert at the specialty coffee bar that has many great deserts!:)

Hi!

You won't be in any conflict with the restaurant. About to depart out of SJU for our 5th time (4 times on Celebrity vessel), they time the muster drill so that spaces can be used as muster stations, personnel can be deployed throughout the ship as necessary for the drill, then regroup and reset where needed in time to open the door for the first reservation. You won't have to get up from the table mid-meal and, in fact, they may delay seating you for just a few minutes until the drill is complete.

Happy sailing!

We will be on the Summit out of San Juan in a few weeks. Departure time is 8:30PM. If you have an early dinner at a specialty restaurant are you rushed in order to make the muster drill? Thanks.

Just an FYI for you (don't know if you've been there or not) or others that might be new to San Juan...when you get to the airport to fly home...FIRST THING you do when getting into airport is but ALL bags through the AG inspection machines...DO NOT try to go to the check in counters first...they will just turn you around.

I won't get into why this WHOLE procedure is a joke, but it really is...but it is the rule!

Have a great cruise, on my personal favorite X ship!
