You're over thinking it. A nine night cruise should be fine. And easter doesn't have anything to do with spring break scheduling. Relax:)

 

Not true. From the mid-Atlantic states up through the Northeast, it is very common for public schools to build breaks on either side of Easter.

Prime spring break season in Colorado for Elementary, Middle School, High School and our major College is the last week of March. Some private schools do theirs the following week (first week of April).

 

9 days doesn't necessarily eliminate families since Spring Break is 9 days long, but there's probably a lot less people who would take the 9 day (meaning they'd have to take a travel day off the day before) than the 7 day. The 9 day is also more expensive, so that eliminates some families. You're probably fairly safe, even though it is probably Spring Break somewhere that week.

However, the larger point is true. Nine night cruises don't usually attract that many families and/or college kids.
