How strict are Thomsons on children being under 12 for child prices of their shore trips? It seems tough to have to pay full price for a 13 year old.

Sadly if 12 is the cut off point in their T&C for child prices, I don't think there will be any discretion. They will of course know the child's age exactly - it will be on their computer systems so I imagine the adult price will be automatically applied.

Just what I thought Kruzseeka - there is no way of hiding the childs age and the company will say that the OP knew the Ts&Cs when she booked.

Is that not Thomsons standard age criteria for package holiday etc. prices ?

It could work out a lot cheaper to check out local tour operators or do DIY trips. Depends where you are going. We very rarely take ships trips as we prefer to work to our own timetable.
