canadaman111 Posted March 22, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 22, 2016 Just curious if there was a website where you could see how booked your sailing was before you go?
troublemaker256 Posted March 22, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 22, 2016 Not that I have found. I usually try a mock booking or 2 to get an idea. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have never cruised before, but typically how full would you say the ship is? I am sure it varies by time of year. I am just curious...

I am just curious... No way to be sure but if you watch pricing and prices are trending upward good indication cruise is selling well.

Savlamara Posted March 22, 2016 #7 Share Posted March 22, 2016 Wow! I am surprised they get that close to capacity Thats where the upgrade fairy comes in. They upgrade existing paying guests and the lower category rooms can go to people pretty darn cheap or even free.
SadieN Posted March 22, 2016 #8 Share Posted March 22, 2016 Wow! I am surprised they get that close to capacity Peak can be 106%. 100% is only the lower bunks filled. 106% is all bunks filled. Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
troublemaker256 Posted March 22, 2016 #9 Share Posted March 22, 2016 Checked our cruise this morning, 4/9/16 only 19 interior left and the 2 most expensive Captain Suites (@$2598 pp for a 5 day cruise) were all that was left Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ex.- 7 day magic, balcony, approximately $400. And that was with insurance. Maybe not free, but pretty close.
AZ Karaoke Girl Posted March 22, 2016 #13 Share Posted March 22, 2016 My TA contacted me once when we were driving to Los Angeles saying that Carnival oversold the cruise and were asking us to move from 2 inside cabins to one oceanview quad. I respectfully declined. 2 adults and 2 teenagers in one cabin, no thanks. They weren't even willing to negotiate a cheaper rate. Absurd. Their mistake for overselling what they couldn't fulfill. cruzelover55 Posted March 23, 2016 #15 Share Posted March 23, 2016 So not free, just prepaid. ;) You certainly got that right! They make me crazier than I already am! We cruise, but gamble very little. We gamble at land based casinos and get comps, food, rooms, etc... but certainly don't think they are free! We more than pay for them. They, however, use a cruise ship like a casino hotel, which makes no sense to me. Only gamble, eat room service, etc... sad, I have posted about this before so won't repeat myself any further. Just letting you know I realize it is not free. ;)
