Marriage License Process in Bahamas

So I'm getting married in Nassau onboard the Carnival Elation and it's on a Saturday. Originally the cost of the marriage license was $100 but it went up to $305 because offices are closed on Saturdays... All that I understand.

 

Does someone contact me prior to boarding to make sure the application is completed/submitted/etc. or is EVERYTHING done day of wedding?

 

I haven't reached out to the wedding department yet because I figured I'd get a clearer and faster response on here.
