cwhip77 Posted October 14, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 14, 2005 Hello all! We're going on our first cruise for our honeymoon, just curious if anyone is booking any of the excursions offered through Carnival for the Nov 9th sailing of Legend, and if so which ones/any you would recommend? I'm not the best swimmer so most of the water related excursion wouldn't work, maybe a tour or a beach stay? Is it worth it to book an excursion for those types of activities or can we do just as well with a guidebook and some initiative ourselves? :) Thank you! Maryandi Posted October 14, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 14, 2005 Hi - we'll be on the Legend 11/9. also. Check the Roll Call board. Our plan for the islands; is the first time we take an all - island type of tour. We want to see everything that the island is famous for and some pretty scenery, too. This can be done either by ship's tour or private tour/taxi. We take the ship tour if there is not alot of time and getting back to the ship ontime might be close (think Martinique). If you have alot of time then use the private tour/taxi. Of course, the ship tour can be on your S&S account and for the private you need cash, if that matters. Barbados is on a Sunday and the stores are closed - good island for a longer time tour. Then on other visits to the same islands, we go to the beach or revisit something or maybe a combo. 'Sea' ya soon, MaryAnn:)
