Yes, but I expect that on a ship. I usually sleep better because of some motion. I notice it more at night when your senses have less other distractions. While I understand some find it bothersome for me it just lets me know I'm on the ocean.

 

The weather played a part as well as we had strong winds and some swells during most of the trip. I prefer sailing other seasons than the spring, but it wasn't anything that bothered me or my wife. A large ship feels much less than a boat or even a tender.
