Baymont-LeJune Rd MIA

Is this hotel decent, ie I will not need to shake out my shoes every morning? I am used to staying at 3* levels per priceline but I got a good price on line. I am still trying priceline but this is my backup. I will have a car for my post cruise stay so I am not concerned about being away from the DT/port areas.

It's a bit noisy and not in the best neighborhood... The hotels on the south side of the airport are nicer, quieter, and in a much better neighborhood.

If you want an airport hotel I prefer the Hilton... http://www.hilton.com/en/hi/hotels/index.jhtml?ctyhocn=MIAAHHH

Or Hampton Inn "Airport South"... http://www.hamptoninnmiamiairport.com/

Summerfield Suites... http://www.wyndham.com/hotels/MIASS/main.wnt

And Homewood Suites would also be better choices... http://homewoodsuites.hilton.com/en/hw/hotels/index.jhtml?ctyhocn=MIABLHW

Thanks for the advice. i checked out all the places you suggested.

Summerfield does not work as no 2 bed rooms, traveling w/ a friend

Hilton comes to $150/night

Hampton comes to $120

Homewood (which I love) is $165

These rates are WAAAY above what I am willing to spend in the slower, after Thanksgiving and before Christmas, time. My limit is about $100. I am working priceline and will continue to do so. I have stayed in the Blue Lagoon area and would do so again as I can navigate better from there. I would also give up the car and stay DT, just use public transportation if we go to SoBe or whatever for a day. I once made the mistake of staying at the financial district Hyatt. Was that a pit. Worse than Days Inns I have stayed at.

Thanks for your help and advice.

I hit on priceline for the Coral Gables Holiday Inn at $50/night. Much more in my price range, I will have a car and you did mention on some other threads that this is a CG is a nice area.
