Rare Fa-Li Posted April 1, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 1, 2016 Hi, there, wondering if anyone can help with a picky pool question... We are booked on Serenade of the Seas for the Norway fjord cruise next May. Trying to get our friends to come with us and they are concerned about the pool temperature. They have younger kids and want them to be able to swim. I explained that on our Alaska cruise, the Solarium allowed kids in since it was cold outside, but our friend has talked to a rep with RCI and has been told the Solarium pool on Serenade is salt water and refilled daily, so he's sure it will be cold. I'd love to be able to reassure them, but we are not pool people, so I'm wondering if anyone has done the Norway cruise and might have tried swimming? TIA! TBone2K Posted April 1, 2016 #2 Share Posted April 1, 2016 Wasn't a problem in Alaska, so I would expect Norway would be similar. Solarium pool was warm. Keep in mind that kids are only allowed in solarium pool during posted times.
Rare Fa-Li Posted April 1, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted April 1, 2016 Thanks, TBone2K. I agree with you, that is exactly what I saw on the Alaska cruise. Just hoping someone who has actually done Norway/Serenade can confirm it's the same.
