Taxi or Shuttle from Long beach port to LB airport

Anyone know how much a cab ride from the Carnival Long Beach Port to the Long Beach airport would be? If we decide to take a taxi or a shuttle is it necessary to book ahead or can we just grab one when we get off the ship?

I would look until Uber or Lyft instead. I plan on taking an Uber from Anaheim train station to Long Beach Pier.

So sorry I misread the airport as LAX. Long Beach pier to LGB is about $38 flat rate. The taxi rank is to the right as you exit the Dome.

There are taxis waiting at the airport to take you to the pier. We've never had any trouble getting a taxi from the pier to Long Beach airport when we returned from the cruise. It's not a great distance and is very convenient.

Yes, that's what I remember too. Flat rate. I think we gave him $45 and he was happy.
