Barcelona Pre-Cruise Hotel with Flight to Venice for Embarkation

Our September 3 Mediterranean cruise on HAL Eurodam departs from Venice and ends in Barcelona. We've decided to spend a few days pre-cruise in Barcelona and then fly to Venice for embarkation. Our flight leaves BCN at 6:30 A.M!

 

Because of our very early flight, we're considering staying at a hotel convenient to the airport and using taxis to take us to various sightseeing locations. Does anyone have a hotel recommendation that would be good for our touristing needs as well as airport convenience?
