Cruise Elegant Freedom

We just sailed last week. The first formal night was Sunday night and the second was Thursday night. Depending on your itinerary, it may change. Ours was the first full sea day (elegant), then we had 3 port days, then 2 more full sea days of which the first was elegant.

FWIW... Lobster is only offered on the first cruise elegant night.

Have fun on your cruise!

Wonderful, thank you for sharing. I will probably book after port day 2 or 3 (Belize/Roatan, respectively).

Yup. If you book a port day, you will be fine. Elegant nights are on sea days.

Enjoy your trip!

I'm sailing on the Freedom for New Year's Eve. NYE is on Saturday, the day we embark. So I'm wondering if they will consider that night an elegant night since it's NYE. That would throw off the elegant nights, or maybe then they would only have one elegant night? (My first time to cruise Carnival, or to cruise on NYE, so I have no clue!)

Not always true. On the Freedom cruise with the Belize route the 2nd Elegant night was on the Cozumel port day, which was a Thursday. This was last September.
