suezq5463 Posted April 6, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 6, 2016 I am traveling to Cozumel in November with my parents who are 78 & 81. They are mobile but unable to walk the long distance down the pier from the ship. I have seen trams running in some ports that assist from the ship to the security gate. Does anyone know if the International pier in Cozumel offers this assistance? I have reached out to Royal Carribean, but have not received a response. JohninDC Posted April 6, 2016 #2 Share Posted April 6, 2016 I do not recall trams, but do recall seeing bicycle powered "rick-shaw" type transportation available.
beargrass1 Posted April 6, 2016 #3 Share Posted April 6, 2016 Sorry no trams. Just the bike things.
suezq5463 Posted April 6, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted April 6, 2016 That would work just to get them down the pier. Thank you for the responses.
Tennessee Rose Posted April 11, 2016 #5 Share Posted April 11, 2016 It's been a couple of years but assume they have the same pedi-cabs that go up and down the piers. 3-wheeled with the "driver" pedaling like a bike. But the comfortable "carriage/seat" will hold 2 people. You pay by whatever you want to tip them. We had no idea what to tip so we gave the one out and the one that brought us back at end of day $5 per driver. They seemed okay with that. :)
