Is there an app available for free that one can use on smartphones to message other people onboard? I'm just wondering as it seems like such a big ship... Or does one need to buy internet access?

Allure does not yet have any cruise line apps for messaging.

 

You would have to have internet access and use something like iMessage, or use cellular based texting for $0.50 per message.

If you mean the iPhones, I read here that they are no longer available.
