Getaway guarantee mini suite MX

Doing some mock bookings and looking at mini suites on the Getaway. There are mini suites available on every deck from 8 up to 14, with some categories specific to certain decks.

 

In looking at the description for MX category, it says "Your stateroom may be on any deck and assigned up to one day prior to embarkation." but in the lower box where the SELECT button is, next to MX it says deck 8. Which is correct- can it be any deck or will it be on 8? It's $600 cheaper to book the MX over the M6, which would cover the UBP grats:D

That's a guarantee which can be anywhere. There are only two actual MX minisuites and they are rarely available for booking. MX is otherwise just a guarantee which can be anywhere on the ship.

We booked a MX mini-suite for the May 8th Getaway. Got our room number assigned last week. Was on deck 9, midship. Great location by the way. Most Mini-suites are located midship.

We also are on the May 8th Getaway sailing and were assigned our cabin last week. They gave us a Family Mini-Suite on Deck 12. Not a bad location although our son with us us is 13yrs old and won't be using the Splash Academy. They did put us in the cabin furthest from there and it appears to be in a great location so it's probably well worth the $600-700 savings.
