TheresaK Posted October 16, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 16, 2005 Hi, We are sailing on the Golden Princess January 28, 2006 to the Southern Caribbean. (San Juan, St. Thomas, St. Kitts, Grenada, Isla of Margarita, Aruba) The posts I was reading yesterday included a lot of complaints about the cloudy and rainy weather at this time of year. Is that the normal weather for January and February? If so, I am going to think twice about this cruise. I want lots of SUNSHINE!! Thanks for any replies! CathyG Posted October 16, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 16, 2005 Don't worry about the weather. We went to all those islands this past January 30th and had perfect weather. Oh, just remembered, it misted in St. Kitts for about 15 minutes but that was it. It's the best time to cruise in our opinion. It's not the rainy or hurricane season. We've sailed this time of year 13 out of 14 cruises and have never been disappointed. Go - you'll have a great time. Cathy
denboy Posted October 18, 2005 #3 Share Posted October 18, 2005 There is normally plenty of sunshine in January and February, there was some unseasonable wet weather early this year but that was the exception to the rule rather than he norm.
