Weather in Caribbean in January/February

Hi,

We are sailing on the Golden Princess January 28, 2006 to the Southern Caribbean. (San Juan, St. Thomas, St. Kitts, Grenada, Isla of Margarita, Aruba) The posts I was reading yesterday included a lot of complaints about the cloudy and rainy weather at this time of year. Is that the normal weather for January and February? If so, I am going to think twice about this cruise. I want lots of SUNSHINE!! Thanks for any replies!

Don't worry about the weather. We went to all those islands this past January 30th and had perfect weather. Oh, just remembered, it misted in St. Kitts for about 15 minutes but that was it. It's the best time to cruise in our opinion. It's not the rainy or hurricane season. We've sailed this time of year 13 out of 14 cruises and have never been disappointed. Go - you'll have a great time. Cathy
