serene56 Posted October 18, 2005 #26 Share Posted October 18, 2005 Does Princess enforce a dress code for dining rooms (not the buffet area) we sailed on Carnival and Royal and dress codes are not enforced in any way)? Can you go with traditional then change half way through the week?? Is a reservation really needed for PC or can i really get a table for 7pm without making that reservation? I hear an occasional, rare story about somebody being turned away in shorts upon entering the dining room but personally, I don't think they do any more about it than Carnival or Royal Caribbean. I DO think that there are WAY less "violators" on Princess that Carnival though. To me, seeing somebody in shorts in the dining room is a rare thing on Princess and fairly commonplace on Carnival. You sure can go with traditional then change half way to Anytime Dining. The other way around might not work though. No, you do not need a reservation for PC. The smaller your party size the faster you'll get seated in most circumstances. If you've got a big party and you're not in traditional, you're in trouble no matter what.
