hkolln Posted October 17, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 17, 2005 Is the only way to get to St Croix via airplane from St Thomas? Our cruiseship docks in St Thomas and I want to go over to St Croix this time. Only transport I can find is via airplane. UGH
tcltcl Posted October 17, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 17, 2005 There is also a ferry that operates seasonally. Try Virginislandsfastferry.com.
The Islander Posted December 4, 2005 #3 Share Posted December 4, 2005 Hello, That ferry isn't running this season. There is suppose to be a new one coming but haven't heard much in regard to when. You can take the seaplane from Charlotte Amalie to Christiansted (no airports) or a flight (airport). --Islander http://www.*****

Joe876 Posted February 27, 2006 #5 Share Posted February 27, 2006 What's the cost range of going from St Thomas to St Croix?? Also, timewise too.. Well, I didn't get no responses from this so I went a looked for it myself. I didn't get a price but found out it's 40 miles from St Thomas to St Croix. So, 40 miles is tops, around an hour. All these people viewing & no responses.

lljost Posted March 1, 2006 #7 Share Posted March 1, 2006 Below are three options for traveling between St. Thomas and St. Croix: http://www.seaborneairlines.com http://www.islandlynx.com http://www.flycapeair.com Prices vary on Seaborne according to the time of the flight. Island Lynx is still new so not sure of their confirmed prices and we have flown Cape Air for $99 round trip in the past. Good luck and come visit the island if you have the chance. It can be worth the trip, especially if you have visited St. Thomas in the past and are looking for something new.
Joe876 Posted March 3, 2006 #8 Share Posted March 3, 2006 Thanks for the info lljost...you have any idea how much it is from San Juan to St Croix??
lljost Posted March 3, 2006 #9 Share Posted March 3, 2006 You can find flights for $99 RT, but usually between that and $199. The Seaplane flys from Old San Juan to St. Croix. At the airport you will find most flights on Caribbean Sun Air, Cape Air and AA (American Eagle). Hope this helps.
