Where is Tortuga from the port?

DW and I are planning an excursion with Captain Marvins while we are at Georgetown, and would also like to go to Tortuga Rum Cake Factory. Anybody know if it is within walking distance from the place the tenders drop you off, or what is the recommended method for getting there? We will have about 3 hours from the end of the excursion until the ship leaves.

There is a Tortuga Rum Factory store right along the main street. When you get off the tender, you turn left and it is down a couple of blocks, across the street. There is a large pirate on the porch. Lots of good cakes to taste! Makes my mouth water just thinking about it.

Yeah, I went there. My wife sampled the cakes and I sampled the rum and liquers! :D

Out where the Rum Factory and Turtle Farm are you would need a taxi to get to. You can ask your excursion operator to drop you there if you wish. You can't walk from the pier. Too far.
