Allure / Oasis - when will they get royal iq or wowbands?

Have heard nothing at all with regard to Oasis or Allure getting RoyalIQ or WOWbands.

I'm guessing these are something similar to Disney's Magic Bands at the resorts and theme parks that are now on RCI's newest ships? Or am I way off base. Disney spent an astronomical amount of $ (about a billion I think) to develop their system although it would be way more integrated than what RCI would need.

You are correct that they are similar to Disney's Magic Bands.

 

It would be somewhat difficult and quite expensive to retrofit all of the doors on the ship. That is the reason that I doubt that they are coming to Oasis and Allure.

 

I expect to find them on the Harmony of the Seas when I board, however. ;)
