numberguy Posted April 20, 2016 #2 Share Posted April 20, 2016 (edited) Can you request to have two twin beds instead of a queen bed set up in your cabin? Yes. The "queen" bed is actually two twins pushed together with a bridge of some sort between them. However you want it, you can get it. Rare BirdTravels Posted April 20, 2016 #3 Share Posted April 20, 2016 Can you request to have two twin beds instead of a queen bed set up in your cabin? Most beds can be physically split into two twin beds with a nightstand between. Just ask your room steward and they will do it at the first night's turndown. A few room configurations and most of the Havens beds can't be split. You can always request two two twin duvets.
cruis247g Posted April 20, 2016 #4 Share Posted April 20, 2016 Which cabin are you considering? In most rooms, you can have twin beds. However, in some of the suites, there is no option for twins.

On Carnival you request the bed configuration when you check in on line, so it is done when you get on board. I am going with my two daughters so we would like to have our own beds if possible. Rare BirdTravels Posted April 21, 2016 #6 Share Posted April 21, 2016 Yup, you can split the beds. You can call reservations and have the request put into your record. Our experience is that they don't do a good job with those requests. If it does not get done, chat with your room steward when you get onboard. Enjoy the Escape!!! We loved it so much, we are going on the Escape for the second time next month.
LakeWobegon Posted April 21, 2016 #7 Share Posted April 21, 2016 Also, if you can get a room with the "+" symbol noting it can hold 4 people, it typically will have a Pullman bed that comes down from the ceiling. An option if you wanted to keep the couch as a couch the whole time. I climbed up into the one in our room and it was comfortable and could hold 300 lbs it said I think. Dikucz Posted April 23, 2016 Author #8 Share Posted April 23, 2016 Thanks everyone for the answers. We don't have a toon that holds 4 so I'll call and request to split the beds!
