Casino Cruise Certificate

Recommended Posts

I am currently on Grandeur of the Seas. I am 300 points away from 2400 which gives you a cruise for two for free. They told me they will give me a list of dates that I can decide from. They said they will be soon. If I do it (4 days left). I will not be able to go on it as I have 2 scheduled for this year and am maxed out on vacation time. Can I sell the certificate? Or do I have to go (only my name and someone else)??

Any insight is appreciated! Thanks

I seriously doubt it. You're getting your free cruise because of your play in the casino and they would expect similar play next time. Just like in land casinos, offers are only for the specific player only. A spouse is not even eligible to use your offer without you being present.

I have seen them for sale. And no offense, I am looking for someone who knows not doubts or thinks. Thank you.

They are non transferable, however they should have a trade in value if you cannot make the dates offered. I suggest you read the casino thread. This is all covered there.

WOW. First you ask for any insight. He/She gave you some and you bash him/her for it. And if you have seen them for sale then why ask it in the first place. To make sure then just call Casino Royale...I'm pretty sure they will clear any doubts.

If they are being "sold", that is illegal.

And yes I have 15 years experience in RC casinos :)

Where exactly did you see them for sale?

Non transferable as quoted by spurschick

You may be able to apply the value of the FCC to reduce the balance on a future cruise

Worth a call to CR and see what they can do for you

1-888-561-2234

Edit: if you are on the ship now, ask the host to call HQ and see if they will apply the FCC to one of your future cruises, in form of a payment to reduce balance on one of the two cruises.

Happy Days!

Agree. It is a reward earned by an individual and as such the certificate is for that individual.

Not sure why, if they wanted an accurate response, they decided to ask here when they question our responses when they could have just asked the casino host:rolleyes::

Why don't you just cancel one of the cruises you have booked, take the free cruise and reschedule the one you cancel at a later date.

They are with other cruise lines based on time I can go. Sister in college coming. Can't go during exams. And specific ports b

I'd also like to know where you've seen these for sale!

Are you a casino newb?

I have seen them on eBay. They were cruise certificates. Didn't know if they were the same thing. And yes I am a casino newb

This is what I was looking for. First, I did specifically say no offense. Because I'm looking for a no you can't or yes you can. Not an I doubt you can. I doubt you can too that's why I am asking.

Second, the casino lady who told me about it didn't speak good English and didn't understand what I was asking.

And lastly, this is why I ask on cruise critic. I would not have known this to ask about had I not posted. So to the poster who said why wouldn't you ask the casino. This is why I ask here.

In conclusion, don't jump down my throat when specifically mentioned not to take offense and instead give information as this is what cruise critic is for. Thank you.

Give CR a call when you finish this cruise, with the New program there is a lot of data being given out and some that is accurate and very reliable and some that is just sketchy.

You are correct on the 2400 points, that will get you an Inside room for 2 on a 7 night cruise and these certificates are relatively new, for new CR members.

They want you back to win more of your money:D

They are limited to specific sailings and timeframes, they do not work for us, however they do work for those who are able to cruise whenever.

We frame the certificates as souvenirs :)

No harm in trying to see if they will award a discounted rate on future booked cruise.

If the 2 cruises you have booked, were booked before March 15th 2016, there is a good chance someone at CR will be able to help you

Best of luck.

The ones for sale on eBay are useless, you would need the ID of the person on the certificate and if the certificate is altered, well you get the gist of it.

Happy Days!

I wasn't jumping down your throat. Artemus provided you with a well thought out and logical explanation as to why you couldn't. You came looking for information and they kindly gave you information.

I suggested you ask the casino as firstly they are the ones offering the certificate. Secondly, once you receive the certificate you will have all the terms and conditions on there which would answer most questions.

If you do not understand the lady you spoke to did you ask for the Casino host or Casino manager? They are able to clarify any questions you have . As PompeySailor stated they can contact Club Royale to confirm if needed.

Hopefully you make the 2400 hundred points and get to use the certificate.

Blackjack

You need to be betting minimum $50 per box to even be rated for CR VIP invitation.

Typically also calculated on 4-5hrs of table play per day

If you are at that level of bankroll, ask Casino manager to monitor your play

Slots

1 point = $5.00 spend

Do you mind if I ask what you played and how often in order to rack up so many points? I generally play blackjack for a few hours a night but never get points that I notice.

I just played the slots that had double points that day. I won 800 the first night on video poker and used that

Sweet, Pompey!!

I had to look a couple of times to see it.

I saw your ACES a lot easier:)

Artemus you should come on over to the casino forums here on cc, a wealth of knowledge and shared experiences

Us winners are in the minority, so I love to see others doing well and spreading the fairy dust.

Linda if you are reading this, do you still have any dust left?;)

Happy Days!
