travelwitch23 Posted October 18, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 18, 2005 If so I was in 5208 and it was the pits. Let me explain further --- I booked an 8B gty and ended up with an 8B (5208). I paid 1,040 dollars for this room and felt more ripped off than I ever have in my life. THe balcony "glass" was so dirty you couldn't see through it and the refueling station was right below my balcony. The smell of diesel fuel was overwhelming during embarkation and at each port as we refueled. I was unable to use the balcony a lot of the time. bw

serene56 Posted October 18, 2005 #4 Share Posted October 18, 2005 GL-- sorry the previous poster is scaring you-- your cabin is above cabins.. There is no refueling station under your balcony./ under your balcony is an unobstructed balcony cabin. under that is the dining room- under that is the pursers desk/shore excursion area..under that is more cabins (oceanview ones) under taht area is where crew sleeps. Please take a moment and read the reviews of the Carnival LEgend here -- http://cruiseclues.com/shipstips/carnivallegend.htm everything that is on the web about the Legend can be found here.
