Hawaii Lover Posted April 26, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 26, 2016 Looking for a nice clean safe hotel near Port Canaveral that offers airport shuttle and shuttle to the port. Would like breakfast included. No car so I don't need a hotel with parking. Also, walking distance to beach and a place to eat for dinner
SteerageJoe Posted April 26, 2016 #2 Share Posted April 26, 2016 (edited) Looking for a nice clean safe hotel near Port Canaveral that offers airport shuttle and shuttle to the port. Would like breakfast included. No car so I don't need a hotel with parking. Also, walking distance to beach and a place to eat for dinner There is good news and bad news! The good news is you have many choices that are nice, clean and safe with plenty of airport transportation options too. The bad news is that with so many choices there are just as many opinions about favorites. But since you want to walk to the beach and restaurants, we can narrow things down a bit. Cocoa Beach will be the obvious choice for you. Cape Canaveral hotels are not near the beach (Holiday Inn Club being an exception). Please read this page for more information about Cocoa Beach hotels. All offer port shuttles. Below is a map of the cluster of hotels near the beach and restaurants. Avoid using hotel airport transportation because a) not offered by most and b) you can get better rates using one of several dependable local companies. Read this page for a list often recommended here. Edited April 26, 2016 by SteerageJoe

Also, walking distance to beach and a place to eat for dinner The airport most use is in Orlando - almost an hour drive from PC/Cocoa Beach. Look at a map on Google. As suggested above, arrange for your own transport from MCO to the hotel of your choice -- Cocoa beach Shuttle and CorTrans offer shared shuttle service between MCO and PC/Cocoa Beach with fares starting at about $20+ per person. For private transport contact Michael at Executive VIP. We typically rent a car one-way from MCO and drop it the morning of our cruise -- all of the car rental agencies in PC/Cocoa Beach offer free shuttles to the port. CartersinMO Posted April 27, 2016 #5 Share Posted April 27, 2016 We always rent a car from Budget or Alamo one way to Cocoa Beach- about $30-40. We stay at the Best Western there. We turn the car back in & they shuttle us to the port. We do the same thing on the way back! So much cheaper Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
