iluvit! Posted June 15, 2016 #51 Share Posted June 15, 2016 Unless this is a very recent policy change, I don't think it's true. I was recently able to change 3 reservations that I had made onboard and took instant OBC. The deposits stayed with the reservations. How would this work if one is planning to book as soon as the cruises are released in the spring? Can the transfer be done online or does your agent have to do it? What is the best way to ensure that you can make the transfer if there is a great deal that you just have to jump on? Thanks for your expert help! Thanks for your expert help! I don't believe bookings that are made onboard can be changed online. If the booking is held by a travel agent, then you would have to call the agent. Otherwise, you would have to call RC.
troykahack Posted June 15, 2016 #53 Share Posted June 15, 2016 We recently book two cruises on board Majesty using Next Cruise. We received an OBC on both cruises we choose to apply to the new cruises. We had previously booked a cruise online for Serenade and had a OBC $300. i just received a discount code for Casino play and was able to apply it to my Next Cruise booking and keep our OBC. The cruise we booked online, we had to lose the OBC (but it was worth it). It seems that OBC with Next Cruises remain if one makes rate changes later?? It did in our case,
