Up sell on Dawn, May 1st

So after reading all about the up sells and trying to call yesterday. We got through today and went from a Casino Comp Inside room ( which we had booked a while back) with the UBP to an Aft balcony Room 9500 WOW WOW WOW.

Questions, 1 Is this considered Haven or not? 2 Has anyone had this room before? 3. What do we get with the room? Services?

For us this is a HUGE upgrade. We usually do insides, and an occasional balcony.

And i know this is the big question. It was $ 600.00 total. There were three in the room but one person is probably not going ( It was 3rd and 4th free).

We did not get any other free offers (SDP etc.) which was not a problem. And this is our first sailing at Platinum members. Cannot Wait

There is no Haven on the Dawn.

Sorry.

 

And if this is a "balcony" category room, there won't be any "Suite perks" either, because it wouldn't be a suite.

 

But it's certainly a GREAT upgrade from an inside!

Looking at the ship's layout, cabin 9500 is a Category SE - Penthouse Suite with Large Balcony located in the front of the ship. Sounds like a great upsell. The Dawn does not have the Haven. Have only sailed in a balcony on the Dawn when it first sailed, so not sure what the perks are. Enjoy!

Ooops - just checked for you and you should look at the Deck Plans, too.

 

9500 is NOT "aft".

Awesome upsell!! 9500 is forward and has a HUGE balcony!! Enjoy, I am on the Dawn the week after you, please don't drink all the rum, lol!!

As far as perks, you get the suite perks.

 

Suite check in and lounge when waiting to board.

 

Breakfast and Lunch at Cagneys....or perhaps another restaurant.

 

Concierge, Butler, special room service menu....there are other perks, just do a search.

Thanks for your info. I had the room number correct but wrong about the aft , it is a forward. I think it was a pretty sweet deal too. I wonder if we get breakfast and lunch at a private dining area? thanks again

It is usually Cagney's but someone mentioned on their review of the Dawn last week that it was at LaCuccina (with the same menu that they use at Cagneys)

AMAZING upsell. We have stayed in one of these rooms in the past Boston - Bermuda and they are beautiful rooms - HUGE Balconies and you are right in the middle of everything. ENJOY!!!
