LoriPhil Posted April 30, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 30, 2016 (edited) We are on an Alaska B2B. If we purchase wine from Princess' on-board duty free shop during the first part of the cruise will it be delivered to our cabin on the last night of the first 7-day so we can enjoy it in our cabin during the 2nd leg? Putterdude Posted April 30, 2016 #3 Share Posted April 30, 2016 Normally when a cruise is booked as a b/b any duty free alcohol purchase made on the first leg of the cruise is delivered to your cabin on the last afternoon of the first leg....and people have been known to drink that alcohol during the second leg of the cruise....but not I.
VibeGuy Posted April 30, 2016 #4 Share Posted April 30, 2016 Wine from the shops on board may technically be duty-free, but there's not a discount for wines that are intended to travel home with you - wines are the same price as in the dining rooms. If you mean wine -- I don't know, I've never see duty free wine on princess; only wine for onboard consumption. If you mean liquor -- my experience is -- most of the time, your purchases are delivered on the last day of the first cruise; but every once in a while, no. My opinion -- wait until take-away liquor goes on sale on the last day, and purchase then. That way, you will know for sure.
paul929207 Posted April 30, 2016 #6 Share Posted April 30, 2016 Officially, you will get it at the end of the second leg. Often they don't check and it comes at the end of the first leg
