Curse on Yeti Thief

Recommended Posts

Yeti is a beast when it comes to keeping Ice Ice! I can take it out on the lake and the only thing that melts the Ice is the drink going in it until the liquids matches the temp. The outside of the cup will even get hot as steel does in the sun. No Thermos, No Tervis, No Bubba Keg can compete on the lake. I am not sure about the RTIC or Boss knock offs as I do not have them. I can verify the others though!

If you need to keep your drink cold for that long, you're doing it wrong.

I've never had a drink last more than 10 minutes. Ever.

I'm a sipper not a guzzler :D and I hate watered down drinks.

That stinks! I plan on taking my yeti with me...it's personalized with my name, so hopefully that'll be a deterrent to thieves. I will choke out anyone who tries to touch it.

Wow...Ya'll may want to chain it to your bodies or better yet give it back to big foot:D

I checked with them several times not really expecting to get it back.

Hi there

It's a shame. Some people are so rude.

At least it's something that can be replaced. Maybe if she hears about the curse she will return it before too long. :)

may your next cruise experience be better that the last

I have the 30 oz RTIC, hubby has the Yeti. They are dead even when it comes to keeping ice, they are fabulous!

To the "lady" who took my Yeti cup from the Casino restroom on the April 9 Carnival Freedom. Obviously you don't know about the curse inflicted on those who dare to steal a treasured Yeti.

Your butt will double in size.

This isn't always a curse!:D

So sorry about your Yeti  But your curse is awesome!

Sounds disgusting but I will drink ice water, watered down soda, whatever from my yeti for several days. Some days there are just slivers of ice but water is super cold like I like it. I paid 40 for mine, I got the large one, after my sister took hers on the cruise last year. The ice water was such a welcome treat when in the sun. I never used for coffee, have to try that.

Never knew about these Yeti's..learn every day.....I have an old stainless thermos and a target 5 dollar stainless handled cup that sits perfectly in the car holder and keeps hot hot and cold cold pretty long I have had for YEARS...and one fancy Thermos like thing you can drink out of or pur into smaller cup and several gifts plastic Starbucks ones over the years..not like Trevis..wow the variety...If I got the latest Cadillac model...it would stay home..the Starbucks models first to go on a more easy to get distracted and loose things trip.

Sorry OP...I hate loosing special things..and am too much a keeper..lol.

Jesus Christ, can't someone just buy a $40 cup without everyone telling them they're dumb? Seriously, get over it. You spend your money how you want, I'll do the same. We're adults and don't need CC members parenting us.

That said, I sell decals so all of our Yeti's have our names on them.

I plan to take ours. If someone steals it, it would suck but I'd rather have it with me. I am a sipper, and I like my water to stay cold all night so it's cold when I wake up 40 times to pee.

OMG, yes! I agree with every word you said. My daddy always said "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all". So, unless someone is asking for an opinion, keep it to yourself....it's not nice to be critical of others choices.

LOL, I'm actually surprised at the overwhelming love of the Yeti. The only people who chastise or make fun have never used a Yeti.

At first glance, $40 ($80 in my case) appears expensive but I have not suffered through a watered down, lukewarm drink in over a year (except for the last 3 days of my cruise). Money well spent in my humble opinion.

My husband works out on road calls all day in Atlanta summers. A cold drink that survives our heat is worth it's weight in gold.

I brought my yeti on our cruise last year. I filled it half way with ice on the ship early one morning before getting off at Half Moon Cay and brought several cans of soda in a carry bag that we brought from home. It sat in the hot sun all day long on the beach at Half Moon Cay in June. Refilled several times from canned soda and the only time the ice melted was when I poured hot soda in for a refill. I still have plenty of ice when I got back to the ship.
