Bringing Boxed Wine Aboard

Recommended Posts

I like the idea of carrying on a box, rather than glass bottles. The few brands that I like best are actually the equivalent of 4 bottles, not 2. I know I did this once before, with no problem but I can't remember if was Royal or Carnival. Has anyone else done this?

Royal does not allow boxed wine, and will take it away if they catch it.

Really!? It doesn't allow any boxed wine, regardless of the quantity? Why ever not?

Their rules, and you cannot predict if they will enforce them or not.

Because their rules state 2- 750ml bottles per cabin - you clearly state your box is = to 4 bottles

Having said that - you could try and be prepared for it not to make it

No, I'm asking "regardless of the quantity?"

Love this! [emoji1]

We've done it 3 times on Carnival.

5L box in checked luggage, and never got caught.

We purchased the Premium Drink package for both of us, but we like this for room breaks, and before bed on the balcony.:D:D

I am going to attempt it in June.

This time I am going to take the bladder out of the box, and put it in a garbage bag, and break the box down flat and put in the bottom of the suitcase.

Fingers crossed.:D:D
